How do Hookhaul pricing tiers work?
Hookhaul uses three truck-count bands: Solo for 1–2 trucks, Crew for 3–6 trucks, and Fleet for 7+ trucks. It is one subscription per fleet, with the Multi-dispatcher board or Multi-truck view helping larger operations coordinate work as they grow.
Who owns and controls our operational data?
Your operation keeps control of its working records in Hookhaul, without turning job history into a separate black box. Job history stays in the shared operational record, where the Kanban dispatcher board shows work status and the Audit timeline keeps the sequence of changes visible.
How does driver onboarding work?
Add a driver to your operation, assign work from dispatch, and give them the Driver mobile card for the job details they need on the road. The office can follow the visible Tow started, Tow in progress, and Delivered steps without phone-tag.
How are drivers paid through Stripe?
The customer-facing Stripe payment link gives the customer a clear way to pay for the job. After a job is finalized as completed, the per-job payout is recorded in the Driver earnings surface for the operation to track.
What happens when a job is canceled?
A canceled job is not treated as a completed driver payout, while its reason, note, and time remain in the Cancelled jobs audit. The Audit timeline preserves that history, and any payment or invoice that was already finalized is handled by the operator as a Stripe refund or void rather than silently deleted.
How does Hookhaul support a growing fleet?
You can start with Solo for 1–2 trucks, move to Crew for 3–6, and step into Fleet at 7+ trucks as the operation expands. The Multi-dispatcher board and Kanban board keep the work coordinated, while Customer ratings give the team a visible signal as volume grows.
